Previously worked on the Sydney Futures Exchange trading floor, and was also a Financial Analyst for Kerry Packer's Consolidated Press Holdings. He has been Managing Director of Bowen Energy Ltd, CEO of Baru Resources Ltd and Discovery Africa Ltd, and Executive Chairperson of Victorian Gold Mines NL and Celamin Holdings Ltd among other directorships.
Successful business career over a period of 40 years, with vast experience in the retail sector. Founded Active Premium Beverages water bottling business in 2011, and has established a number of mass market brands and grown the business to service major retailers, airlines, shipping companies and other sectors. Priors to this, he established the Helena hair and beauty brand and business, which was acquired by Oldfields Ltd in 2007, and also established and operated a substantial discount retail chain in Sydney.
Extensive business and finance experience in a career spanning 30 years, including corporate and institutional banking, and in the retail, property and manufacturing sectors among others for ASX-listed companies and private companies. Specific expertise in financial and risk management, accounting, and business and system processes. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Sydney University and has completed accounting studies at the University of Technology Sydney, and is FSRA compliance through FINSIA.
Vast experience in investment and management in the supermarket retail sector, developed through managing and operating multiple supermarkets over a 25-year period. The supermarkets were franchised and taken-over by major supermarket group, Metcash Trading. He then established and ran another highly successful supermarket business in regional WA. Also has experience in the property development sector.
In excess of 15 years’ experience in public company responsibilities including statutory, corporate governance and financial reporting requirements. Mr Mouchacca is Company Secretary and Financial Officer for a number of ASX-listed companies and unlisted public companies. He graduated from RMIT University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
